An estimated 900 mourners attended the June 4 funeral for fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, including President Nicholas Sarkozy and first lady Carla Bruni (who modeled for the designer at one time), actress Catherine Deneuve, and designers Vivienne Westwood, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Valentino, and John Galliano. The funeral was held at Saint-Roche church near the Louvre.
