Lucy Liu has teamed with Harper’s Bazaar to create a fashion spread in honor of the ongoing 2008 Olympic Games. Vogue, Adidas and Polo among others also created Olympic themed ads, clothing lines and fashion spreads to follow the crowd. Harper’s spread demonstrates that is doesn’t matter whether you win or lose, it’s how you dressed that counts.

Just under a year after her Little Black Book of Style hit bookstores, Nina Garcia will release another style guide: The One Hundred: A Guide to the Pieces Every Stylish Woman Must Own.
The book’s mission is to introduce women to 100 essential items that will solidify their wardrobe and enable them to feel classic.
The book hits stores August 26.

The votes are in and Michelle Obama has made Vanity Fair’s International Best-Dressed list for the second year in a row.
A rep for the magazine says that Obama “Has a sleek style that’s not overdone. She connects to the modern woman.”
Also making the list is French first lady and former model Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Middleton.

So the cut of the dress is cute in theory, but how she ever fell for the sickeningly pastel Sweet Tart color we’ll never know. And while the mile-high Louboutins are hot, they’re all wrong for this attempt at a cohesive ensemble. Mary-Kate’s Jsa Jsa Gabor Green Acres inspired thing just isn’t working. If there’s any Hollywood starlet in desperate need of a stylist, it’s this one.

Kanye West is slated to design a men’s shoe line for legendary fashion house Louis Vuitton.
The rapper has been making fashion headlines lately, as he’s also in talks to design a new womenswear line for fall. West calls himself “the Louis Vuitton Don,” and is often seen in the front row at fashion shows and hobnobbing with fashion power players like French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld.
